Material eliminated from colon cleansing.
One hundred percent of American adults, if they live long enough, have herniation of the bowel. The number one cancer among men and women together is colon/rectal cancer. The colon is the sewer of your body. If it's not cleansed, the waste throughout the body can't get out. According to some estimates, about 70 million Americans suffer from bowel problems. These statistics cover only those people whose problems are severe enough to cause them to consult a medical doctor. People who aren't even aware that they have a bowel problem are often in the worst condition. When the colon is healthy, a person will have two or more well-formed bowel movements a day. Every morning, they'll have a huge movement which should altogether be from 2 to 4 feet long. Later on in the day they'll have another movement, which will be about half the size of the first. These stools should be expelled effortlessly--within seconds after they sit down. If you have to strain or if you have to read a magazine while you wait for a movement, then you are constipated. Another indication of poor bowel function is if your stools are small and narrow, or if they are short or hard. You shouldn't see any mucus, half-digested food, or blood.
Bowel problems can cause nutritional deficiency, regardless of how good your diet is or how many vitamins you take. A poor diet creates sticky fecal matter. When there is not proper elimination, deposits of fecal matter build up along the wall of the colon or in the pockets of the colon. That's why even a mild case of constipation is a serious problem. Normally, the body pushes wastes out of your colon in eighteen to twenty-four hours. However, when you're not eliminating properly, these wastes may not leave for days. Usually the material deposits along your colon walls, it may not leave for months or years. These deposits of fecal matter in the colon get irritated. This may lead to a spastic or inflamed colon, conditions that interfere even more with nutrient absorption and also with proper bowel function. The feces that remain in one's system begin to decay, releasing toxins and poisonous gases that seep out into the blood and poison all the organs and tissues. The blood stream itself gets polluted, preventing it from removing the cells' wastes. So the whole system is poisoned by wastes.
There is really only one disease--autointoxication and malnutrition. When the body is deficient, it gets toxic, from fermentation of undigested food. When toxic compounds are formed during fermentation of foods in the colon, numerous potentially serious consequences result. These toxins include ammonia (liver toxin); amines (liver toxin); nitrosamines (carcinogens); phenols and cresols (cancer promoters); indoles and skatoles (carcinogens); estrogens (suspected carcinogens and breast cancer promoters); secondary bile acids (carcinogens or active colon cancer promoters); aglycones (often mutagenic); and others.
When the body is toxic, the cells cannot receive nutrients from the blood because the interstitial fluid surrounding the cells is plugged-up with wastes from sluggish lymphatics. This internal poisoning also causes mental depression and morbid thoughts. It's a vicious cycle--one condition feeding the other like a dog chasing its tail. Most people, instead of cleaning out their colons use incense, air fresheners, underarm deodorants, foot powder, mouthwash, toothpaste, breath fresheners, perfumed sprays and colognes to cover up their body odor because they are filled with impacted fecal matter. If the colon doesn't get cleansed, the other organs can't cleanse their waste. If a person can't get the bowels cleaned out, even if they clean the plaque out of the arteries--it's going to go back into the body. They'll just re-absorb it. Unless they clean out the colon, they will never regain vibrant health.
There are several causes of bowel malfunction. If enough water isn't consumed, the stools will be too dry. The same thing happens if the urge to go is ignored. The longer the stools remain in the colon, the drier they get, because the body extracts moisture from them. So the stools are difficult to expel and constipation results. Lack of physical exercise is another cause of poor bowel function. As with other muscles, the bowels benefit when exercise is taken regularly. A sedentary person's bowels become weak and can't do their job of propelling the wastes out of their body. But these are all relatively minor causes of poor bowel function. The main cause is simply malnutrition. Most people don't eat enough nourishing food to supply the muscles and tissues of the bowel with needed nutrients. The bowel begins to deteriorate and lose its muscle tone. Besides weakening the bowel, poor diet also causes hard stools. For example, if refined sugar and flour are eaten, these will dry up the feces. Moreover, if the diet lacks roughage, there's not enough bulk to push wastes through the colon. Even though diet is a major cause of sluggish bowels, the answer in NOT simply to eat better food. Many people who have switched to a natural raw food, properly combined diet, still are constipated. One reason is that a person who has eaten poorly over a period of time has usually damaged the colon--then it's too late for diet alone to do the trick. Another reason is that fecal deposits may have become so hardened and thickened that diet alone won't get rid of them.
The body's tissues won't eliminate wastes unless the colon is working. The bodily systems are connected. When the colon is cleaned out, the body will start pulling poisons out from everywhere, because it can. Wastes from the colon can leak out and pollute other organs. Other organs can be treated with natural methods--with only partial results--because these organs keep getting re-infected or re-irritated by poisons from the colon. The impacted colon creates diverticulosis which are herniations or pockets in the wall of the colon that contain fecal matter. If it stays in there long enough, it will leak into your body and cause what is called auto-intoxication. These diverticula cannot usually be detected inside the colon with colonoscopy, but on the outside of the colon where you can't see. The bowel pockets leak pus, toxins, and fecal matter back into the bloodstream.
Diverticulitis, an inflammed diverticula, is becoming more common, because people's diets have gotten worse. It is estimated from autopsy studies that 30% of all adults have diverticular disease and over 50% of those over 40 years old. Diverticulitis is associated with a heavy meat diet and processed foods. Before the 1920's, this disease was almost unknown. It is a 20th century disease, as is heart disease, cancer, and most of the degenerated conditions that people create. It takes many years of bad habits to weaken the bowel enough to form diverticula. It is rare in parts of the world where dietary fiber intake is high (vegetarian).
Diets low in fiber result in small stools that require high intracolic pressures for their propulsion in the colon. This high pressure leads to herniation or protrusion of the mucous membrane through the weak and toxic points in the colon's musculature at the sites where blood vessels enter the colon wall. Diverticula are common in the small intestine as well as the colon. Jejunal (middle small intestine) diverticula are usually asymptomatic, yet, may contribute to malabsorption of Vitamin B12. Often these diverticula protrusions are at the entryway of blood vessels, allowing toxic waste to enter the bloodstream. Fecal obstructions can cause appendicitis. The fecal matter obstructs the opening of the appendix, preventing the fluid from being released and gets inflamed. Parasites are created by nature to consume this filthy condition but they consume the body's nutrition and also excrete toxic poisons that add to the body's toxic burden. Leg ulcers will never heal until you cleanse the colon. We create them as a "second rectum" which leaks wastes out of a clogged-up body. When the body can't eliminate through the normal channels, it will expel the toxins anywhere. If the bowel is cleansed and then the ulcer is treated, it goes away. Tumors can be the body's way of trying to dispose of wastes. Sometimes these external cancer tumors have little holes in the outside, where they leak pus and blood. Sometimes the skin turns red and darker in color, and then splits open and drains.
Required every one to two days for those with acute or terminal conditions; less often with healthier people.
A high enema is designed to wash, clean out, and empty the entire colon, the large intestine. By comparison, a regular enema only washes fecal matter out of the area near your rectum. When done properly, you will introduce enough water into your bowel that it will reach to the beginning of the colon, which is an average of 5-6 feet long. This can be done easily at home. The first time requires a little patience. Place a couple of old towels or rugs on the bathroom floor for cushioning and to catch any water leakage. One can make themselves comfortable, by putting a little heater in the bathroom. They might want to play some soothing music, spray some essential oils or light some incense; create a comfortable environment to enhance the experience. After filling the enema bag with warmed, purified water or herbal tea mixture (not tap water), lubricate the speculum with vegetable oil or ghee. Kneel on the towels with elbows touching the floor. Insert the speculum slowly into the rectum.
Eight to sixteen ounces of water or herbal tea can be introduced while kneeling on the floor with the shoulders as low as possible. Some catnip can be added to the water if one is prone to having bowel spasms. Now, start introducing water into the colon itself, it's very simple. Just lower your shoulders and relax as much as possible, unclip the hose and let the water slowly fill the colon. Not much water gets in the first 2 or 3 times, because there isn't much room in a plugged up colon. Usually most people will feel a lot of pressure and feel a need to eliminate. The water can be felt, especially if cooler water is used or if there is a little vinegar in the water, on the left side as it's entering the sigmoid and descending colon. If it feels a little crampy, or, like it can't be held, clip the hose to stop the water flow, relax and breathe, then unclip the hose slowly and fill again, getting as much water in as possible. It will take about 40 minutes to an hour to do this high enema. There's no hurry to get up. The rectum will empty, but there will also be some emptying out of the descending and sigmoid colon. Use a little more oil or clarified butter, fill the enema bag again, and then kneel down. The second or third time gets a lot more water in. The whole bag will be emptied.
The water will be felt on the left side, all the way up under the left ribs, where the colon makes a turn. At this point, one can roll over and lie on their back. The rear can be elevated with a little pillow to create an incline. The water will then travel above the navel to the base of the ribcage and through the transverse colon. This may feel as though there is a belly full of water; it will feel a little heavy.
Next, you roll over onto the right side. The right side will be filling up; the water will be felt, especially if it's a little cool, going down the ascending colon to the lower right abdomen, where the colon begins. When it feels like no more can be taken in, or the bag is empty, clip the hose off, remove the speculum and lie there. Elevate your rear a little more if possible, to help move the water through the colon. Some people do a yoga shoulder stand at this point to entirely invert the body upside-down. Lie there and relax. Remain there for 5-15 minutes and then get up and sit on the toilet. Just relax. All the water doesn't come out at once, rather in cycles. It may take a few evacuations to get all of the water and fecal matter out. When finished with this stage, begin again.
When more experienced with this procedure, a person can fill with water or tea and when they feel pressure, they can stop the flow and massage their colon with small circular strokes and rocking motions with the hands while their colon is full of water, starting at the lower left of the abdomen. This also aids in the expulsion of the water while sitting on the toilet. Use the fingers as if playing scales on the piano or kneading bread. Work especially hard on any lumps or rigid areas that are felt--these are deposits of fecal matter. Massage these areas until the lumps go away.
After four or five minutes of massaging the urge to expel the water will pass. That means it's time to let in some more. Go back to the knees with the rear in the air. Let in some more fluid and spend several minutes massaging further along the bowel. Continue in this manner until reaching the rib cage. Make sure to massage the section of bowel just underneath the ribs. Then start moving across the abdomen. Be sure to take enough time. If a person tries to rush, they will cause the bowel to expel what has already been put in. If this happens, start again. As the middle of the abdomen is reached, there may be areas where the deposits are densely impacted. One can tell because the bowel area may be full and hard. Whenever this happens, massage the area until it loosens up--it may take up to ten minutes. The section of the bowel from the middle of the abdomen to the lower right side usually contains the greatest amount of encrusted fecal matter. Thoroughly massage this area. If all congested areas don't soften, do it again the next day and the next. The material must come out. Having foot-reflexology on the colon points during the treatment, accentuates the whole process.
When this is done properly, large amounts of fecal matter that has been lining the bowels will be expelled. At first there'll be brown or gray mucus coming out. The mucus may have the texture of a jellyfish or the white of an egg. It stretches like rubber and smells awful. If one is observant, they may occasionally notice tiny worms and parasites coming out, but most parasites are microscopic. Some people pass a whole toilet bowl full of parasites. Finally, dried, rotted fecal matter that has been carrying around for years will be seen. It's as black as coal. Sometimes it comes out in little pieces like chicken hearts. Or it can come out in chunks up to several feet long. There are people who pass quarts and quarts of this black stuff. People are usually amazed at what they have been carrying around inside of them. It can take several years or more to repair the damage to the colon.
Next, introduce an implant. This could be aloe vera to soothe the bowel with colitis. For cancer, use red clover and chaparral tea, and wheat grass juice. Only use filtered herbal tea. The herbs for the bowel, like the aloe or cascara sagrada or senna are emodin-containing herbs. The chemical emodin is a bitter that stimulates the liver and the bowel to work better. Two, to four ounces of wheat grass juice can be used. Also plantain juice works well. Introduce them into the bowel, in a small amount, up to 16 oz. Don't let it out. Just relax and retain it. The colon absorbs massive amounts of water. Whatever is introduced into the colon, red clover, chaparral, wheat grass juice, aloe vera, wormwood, garlic, will be absorbed through the bowel tissue. The body can be supplied with a little apple cider vinegar, aloe juice or gel, and a good intestinal bio-culture with multiple strains of beneficial bacteria. Do this every other day until the body gets well, and then at much greater intervals for those who are not as sick.
Some people have spastic bowels. They can get a little water in , but they never really get the high enema working because it causes cramping and the water just comes back out. The way to solve that is to add a little lobelia or catnip tincture to the water. A hot water bottle over the abdomen helps also. Cayenne tincture is used orally if feeling faint, or if someone is going to pass out, or if they are getting shaky and they want to get stimulated. It brings more blood circulation to the head. An important thing to remember is that when juice fasting, there is a tendency for the bowel not to work, because no fiber is ingested. So if this happens the intestinal herbs along with bentonite, psyllium, slippery elm and apple pectin will almost guarantee a bowel movement. Enemas need to be taken with herbal formulas to make sure that the bowel is being kept clean. Anyone who has had long-term constipation and just uses plain water, will only clean out what is inside the lumen of the colon, the most recently ingested material. They won't get the hardened crusts, the pockets or diverticula, the old matter that has been there for years.
The accessories needed to perform a colon irrigation using the Colema Board are: 5 gal bucket, the Colema Board kit (incl.: board, tubing assembly, and tip), and a chair. The Colema Board lays on the toilet seat and the chair. The 5-gal bucket is filled with distilled or purified water and is placed on the bathroom counter above the toilet seat. Water flows from the bucket to the board by starting a siphoning process. Water then flows through the tubing into the back of the board and into the tip. The tip is inserted into the rectum prior to water flow. Water enters and fills the colon and is expelled along with waste material through the colon's natural peristaltic motion.
Just because there wasn't an expulsion of worms the first time doesn't mean there are no worms. Sometimes, it happens that a person does a series of enemas and nothing happens and then later they start dumping worms. Sometimes it can take two or three weeks, after doing five or six high enemas before the worms start coming out. Remember, most parasites are microscopic. Vermifuge or vermicide herbs can be used. A vermifuge flushes the worms out; a vermicide kills the worms. One of the greatest vermifuges and vermicides is garlic. There are more exotic herbs you can use, but garlic is extremely efficient. Garlic kills the parasites and flushes them out of the bowel. Organic unfiltered coconut oil also destroys parasites in the intestinal tract. The bitters; wormwood or worm seed, as well as sage, cloves and black walnut hulls are famous for removing parasites. You can make a very mild wormwood tea. Put a tablespoonful of wormwood and/or sage leaves in a couple of quarts of water. Only use filtered herbal tea. Putting the herbs in the enema bag will clog the nozzle. The best herb to have in the house is garlic. It can even save someone's life. In addition to parasites, actual fecal matter encasements, quarts of mucus, long stringy mucus that looks like cheese, and sometimes fresh blood comes out of the bowel.
When cleaning that hardened fecal matter out of the colon, it's not normal tissue underneath; it's infected, pus-filled, irritated, possibly has carcinogenic tissue there. That's the importance of doing an intestinal formula that has cayenne in it to stop bleeding. Garlic is important as well for any infection. That's where the power of using herbs with a high enema comes in. Often balls are seen in the toilet--gallstones that were flushed out during the high enema. Enemas can bring down a fever by bringing in cooling water and removing the wastes that are creating the fever. Bentonite clay in the enema water will absorb the poisons and obstructions out of the bowel. Bentonite clay absorbs forty times its weight in fecal matter. It will absorb the fecal matter out of the pockets, or diverticula's of the colon. Activated willow charcoal is another special plant substance that can be used that absorbs vast quantities of poisons, especially drug residues, and removes them from the body. It's been used for over a hundred years in this country for that purpose. It must be kept in the bowel for about half an hour. Aloe vera gel can be added to reduce inflammation.
Diarrhea and constipation are caused by the same fecal encrustations and toxemia. Diarrhea is the body's defense against its own poisons. The body dehydrates itself, flushing water into the colon to wash out the wastes. If the colon is clean, there is no reason for the body to do this. Colon cleansing stops chronic diarrhea and colitis. If diarrhea isn't chronic, but is related to irritating food you.ve eaten, you can use the intestinal bulking/absorptive substances with water. These can contain psyllium seed husks, flax and borage seed fiber, bentonite clay, activated willow charcoal, apple pectin, slippery elm, and guar gum. Do this three to five times a day at intervals of 1 - ½ hours. Usually your diarrhea will soon stop. If it doesn't stop within five hours, increase the dosage until the stool solidifies. People with irritable bowel syndrome can get relief with these same type of substances.
People can find out for themselves--by trial and error--what foods keep their bowels moving regularly. Once they know, then they can consume those foods regularly. It's different for everyone, but there's always some food that does the job. For many people fruit works well, or it could be cabbage, onions or carrots.

Long-term use of conventional toilets causes wastes to collect and harden in the lower regions of the colon. You may not notice this fecal stagnation until one day it manifests as appendicitis or diverticulosis or inflammatory bowel disease or cancer. Squatting helps keep the colon clean and free of disease.
When having a bowel movement, squat or crouch over the toilet, with both feet on the rim of the porcelain bowl or use a Nature's Platform especially designed for simulating a squatting position. A squatting position with the head forward is ideal. In this position, the colon straightens out, and the fecal matter is easily and thoroughly expelled. You may feel there's "no problem" simply because you have not yet experienced the ease and completeness of natural elimination..When sitting on a toilet seat, the colon becomes curved at the end. This prevents some of the fecal matter from leaving, and the colon clogs up. Squatting to evacuate the colon is something everyone should do. But it's particularly important if one has hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are caused when the strain of trying to eliminate stretches the blood vessels in the colon. Veins become enlarged and engorged with blood, making the tissues sore and itchy.
With colon cleansing, when a person squats, their feces fall out so easily that the pressure is relieved and hemorrhoids begin to disappear. Occasionally, people who have had severe cases of bowel problems may not notice any big improvement in the way they feel for several months after the cleansing. It can take that long for the organs to rebuild themselves. But usually, people feel the results immediately after initiating a colon cleanse program and consuming a diet of mostly raw, high fiber foods that are chewed thoroughly, and combining the foods properly and eating foods at the appropriate time of day.
